“Boa Constructor is a wonderful company. They remodeled my small 1912 bungalow in the Seabright neighborhood, creating a much more livable floor plan while maintaining the integrity of the house. Using eco-friendly and salvaged materials was very important to me, and Michele, the GC, was a kindred spirit in that respect. She encouraged me to find salvaged materials on Craigslist, and she made an effort to reuse 100 year-old redwood siding, doors, etc, when I know it would have been easier to go to the lumber yard and buy something new. Her crew is friendly, expert, and tidy--we lived onsite during our renovation (in a studio behind the house) and I always felt comfortable having the crew here. Michele seems to know every subcontractor in Santa Cruz, and she's great at getting the best quality tilers, hardwood floor people, etc., at the best price. Even more importantly, she is a good listener, and she is patient and flexible with clients. We were, in some ways, terrible clients--we struggled to make up our minds, my husband and I communicated with her at cross-purposes, and we expected miracles on a small budget. Michele stuck with us, dealt with the inevitable challenges and setbacks, and got us back into our home on schedule and for a reasonable price. (We did time and materials, rather than a fixed contract price, so there was no overarching budget.) My house is a little jewel box now; thanks to the creativity and care Michele and her crew lavished on it, it's ready for another 100 years of life.”

It has boosted our business and all of our clients have remarked at how beautiful their work is. It is also such a pleasure to work with them. “Hi :) my name is Annabelle and we are from Sunnyvale California, I just finished a new renovation, and I would like to share with you guys my wonderful experience, we started the process with a lot of fears because of previous experience that we had with another contractor two years ago, from the first meeting with Asi, me and my husband felt the honesty and integrity right away, we describe to her what we would like to achieve in our kitchen remodeling project and together with ideas that came from her designer we decided on the final layout, We needed a new kitchen renovation for our home ASAP, we are all working from home, my husband and I and our older daughter, and the kitchen became much more important, it was very surprising but we succeeded to pass all the inspections on time, The communication part was great, personally I preferred to communicate with Asi directly but they are working with a personal online portal that some people will find useful, we needed a few times that Asi will come to us to discuss on a few changes and we always felt comfortable to share with her our concerns and ideas, and eventually we are very satisfied from the end result!”
