“I hired MACVEL to remove a multi flue chimney, close in the roof and reroof my house. The roof was very old and had multiple leaks that had been patched over a long period of time and there was a lot of damage. They did the job within the time they stated they would, and also within the quoted price. I also added a few items while they were working and they accommodated my request. The roof looks great, and the property was left as clean and neat around the house as it had been before the roofing began. I would hire them again!”

“After seeing some work done by MIH Consulting, we were able to meet with Dia Hunter to discuss our basement project. Right away his professionalism stood out as he verbally took us through the steps of the project. Following our initial consultation, we met at his office to cover the detail and cost of our project. Our project entailed various phases and the respective specialist that were assigned provided quality work. Mr. Hunter reviewed the quality of the work performed before moving on to the next phase of the project, always checking with us to see if the work and progress was meeting our expectations. Dia Hunter managed and monitored the project very closely and the end result was a finished basement that we are most pleased with. “We are so happy with our experience! The architect and also the GC, Woody was so immersed, dedicated to our project- he guided us when decisions had to be made with excellent communications skills and also humor! It was exciting to see it all happen- and it was on time! We were living in the basement during the renovation and one night, it was storming, pouring rain- and this was before we had the roof completed, and he shows up in the middle of the night just to check on things to make sure water wasn't coming in! He was also very good at keeping us in-check with our budget. We are very happy with our new home!!”

“Steve Minchew does an excellent job of making the customer happy! We have only used the Minchews for one project so far but plan to hire them for all of our home improvement needs. We had a master bathroom without a vent fan for 20 years and another bathroom vent fan that wasn't doing the job. They put in a vent fan that is powerful and efficient in both baths, dealing with the ducts in the attic and roof. They scheduled the visit and were timely and charged exactly what was in the estimate. You know that there are not going to be any surprises and that the work will be well done. When we called to question the origin of a stain on the ceiling they immediately let us know that whatever the problem they would take care of it. It turned out that it had nothing to do with their work. We have talked with two other families who are thrilled with the work that was done by Minchew and Company.”
