“About a year and half ago I worked with Sean Cutting and Cutting Edge Homes to remodel an older home just outside of Boston. The Cutting Edge Team was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process as a first-time remodeler. At the onset of the project, Sean and his Project Managers were very hands-on working directly with me during the initial planning/design phases and clearly explaining the project steps/timeline. They were also extremely conscious of my desired budget range and timeline for the project. Once the renovation started the onsite team was extremely polite, professional and engaging. “My wife and I needed a kitchen renovation and we were referred to Bertola Custom Homes by a friend. Joe came to our house shortly after we contacted his company to provide us with an estimate. We had a general idea of what we wanted and that included removing two structural walls to open up our floor plan. The job was big and very complex, however Joe was able to design the alteration on the spot and 3 days after we met the walls were gone. Because the new design asked for a window relocation, we also had them repair some rotten woodwork on the exterior and paint the entire house. It was very impressive how quickly he managed to come up with drawings from an Engineer, the building permits and begin the work. Everything went very smoothly. The crew moved and protected the furniture as well as the floors. They were friendly, worked very hard, and the site was kept super clean at all times. We also liked the air filter that they provided. It helped to control all the dust from getting everywhere. The final product is amazing. Joe takes real pride of his work. We appreciate his professionalism, work ethic, honesty and positive attitude. It has been amazingly easy dealing with Joe and his team. All of them are super nice and fun to be around. We are extremely happy with all the work and are already on his busy schedule for remodeling four of our bathrooms in the fall. Highly recommend.”

“THE PROJECT: My husband and I bought a two-family home as an investment property with the goal of living on the top floor; however, the unit we wanted to live in had a very closed-in feel and was out-dated. We knew we needed to hire a professional to help us open up our unit and modernize the look and feel... so that's when we called Lorenzo from LC Construction. With his help, we got a beautiful new kitchen, living room, office, bathroom, bedroom, and an amazing walk-in closet. He successfully transformed a 950 square foot unit and made it feel like it was twice the size. SOLID EXPERIENCE AND GREAT PLANNER: Lorenzo was great at listening to our needs and helped us narrow down ideas. It can be very overwhelming when you are changing 80% of your space, but his upbeat personality and excellent communication skills put us at ease. You can tell he has a passion for good design and flow. He really took the time to help us strategically plan the room according to our lifestyle and taste. He was also good about making the most of our budget by recycling/repurposing materials i.e., re-painting existing cabinets instead of buying new ones and repurposing old hardwood floors for a new room. Small things like that really demonstrated his knowledge and experience. GREAT CRAFTSMANSHIP: Now with the project done, we get so many compliments on the quality of work. It seriously looks like you’re stepping into a magazine! Even an untrained eye can tell that everything was done with the utmost care. His crew was always there on time, very polite, and kept the job site very orderly. We appreciated the time Lorenzo took to walk us through the job site and propose new ideas that were not necessarily on the project plan such as frosting the windows of a sliding door and creating drawers/shelves in the wall to make the most of our space. ON TIME & ON BUDGET: I've heard many horror stories from people who hired contractors where projects got prolonged or went way over budget. We never got surprise invoices with numbers we didn't agree on and he got our project done on the day we needed to move in. FINAL REMARKS: What you're really getting with LC Construction is an amazing end product AND a great experience. Lorenzo’s enthusiasm, charm and expertise made the whole process fun and motivating throughout. He’s worth every penny and we’re looking forward to working with him again on another project.”
