“We originally hired Mosaik Design to do some simple updating of cabinets and lighting in our kitchen. During the demolition of the cabinets a piece of flawed granite was discovered and we decided to proceed with a totally new kitchen design which enhanced and changed our main living area. From the creative design of the new floor plan to the finished project, the Mosaik team was professional and easy to work with. They stayed on schedule and used top notch subcontractors. We are extremely happy with the work they did for us and highly recommend them.”

“I've seen a couple remodels by The Remodel Group. What struck me beyond the beauty and transformation was the attention to detail in hardware, craftmanship, not to mention the creativity. “Birdsmouth Construction created a beautiful custom deck for our family that included lighting, hidden fasteners, custom metalwork.....a simplicity of form that required an amazing amount of finesse and engineering before construction could begin. Josh's attention to detail is incredible, the fit and finish work he/his crew does is untouchable. Josh is an absolute pleasure to have about as he's so hardworking yet always open to discussion/collaboration. Josh is honest, funny, a child and dog magnet and he takes extreme pride in his work. He was so considerate about how he left the site daily, taking our family's enjoyment into consideration....all was so tidy. Timelines were met consistently and all felt so smooth and easy on our side. He's a total professional. There should be an option for more stars! We have had quite a bit of work done on our home; as it's quite old, we won't hire anyone but Josh on future projects.”

“We wanted to redo our basement to move our bedroom, my office and our TV room down there and also remodel the laundry area. The job was complicated. the bathroom had to be redesigned, boiler moved, steps moved and more. In other words it was a big, complicated by the fact that as I writer I needed to work. Nick and his staff started from scratch and redesigned the space in a way that we never imagined. We set up a day for the work to begin and an estimated time when it would be over. Not only did the folks they hired show up on time, but they were all real craftsman, the most pleasant of people who took pride in their work. All we did was leave a few boxes of doughnuts every day. The project was well-supervised; they were constantly concerned about our comfort, open to new ideas. When changes had to be made, they were explained to us, and in some case designs were improved from how they were originally drawn up. I had an idea to use space under the steps as a closet, and they said sure. They were constantly thinking about how to make things work better, and they did. When they were done, they came through with little bits of blue tape to mark spots that we would never have noticed but that they saw and which needed a little attention. It's been two years; the work has held up splendidly (and was on budget, by the way). Our house is comfortable in ways we had never imagined, thanks to Nick, his staff and his contractors. The fellow he hired to oversee the project was there every day. Any question we had, he answered thoughtfully and always with consideration for what we needed. If we had to do another big or small project, we wouldn't hesitate to call on Nick again and would urge anyone to do so.”

We had an existing finished section of the basement in desperate need of an update, but it had some features we liked which Matt was very sensitive to helping us keep the good parts. He was very responsive and kept us informed on the project and was able to break out the various pieces so we could decide what should be included in the final project. The project included a new basement bathroom with a shower in a small space and the design he came up with was everything we hoped for. Very happy with the result.”
