“My wife and I are in the process of building a home in North Carolina on property I had purchased 8 years ago. I had considered not building and ultimately selling the property at some point in the future. For the last 3-4 years I have been talking to Guy Burtt of Riverstone maybe 2 or 3 times a year. He had called initially having gotten my name while building another home in the same community. I don't usually just talk to random people, especially if I think they are trying to sell me something. I explained to Guy that I wasn't building but we had a very nice conversation about many things and at the end I told him to feel free to keep in touch. So we have continued to talk for years,, even though there was the probability that I would never need him professionally. Recently my wife and I decided we would build a home. Having developed this relationship with Guy, made it the obvious choice to build with Riverstone. Their references were excellent but more importantly I knew who I was dealing with on a personal level. Since we made the decision to proceed, Guy and Courtney have been making every effort to move things along as quickly as possible and get us the maximum value for our investment. They have been making excellent suggestions to help us bring our ideas to fruition within budget. I would highly recommend anyone considering building talk to Riverstone.”
