Mike's expert building skills transformed this home from ordinary to extraordinary! We work with very high end finishes and materials, and Mike was the perfect fit for the installation and construction. Mike is always thinking ahead, and provides great input to our designs from a construction standpoint. He is very dependable, always adhering to schedule and budget, completing his excellent work, on time and under budget that is! Since completing this complete redo of a master suite, powder room and master bathroom, Mike and I have collaborated on several other projects for my clients. He is my go-to resource for remodeling. I highly recommend bringing him on board for your next project!”

“My husband and I are extremely pleased with the wonderful experience we have had so far with RIKB. We are moving from the designing stage into the ordering process. So technically we still have a few more weeks before we begin the actual renovation of our kitchen. If the rest of the process goes as well as it has, we will be posting another rave review. They take you from the design of your project through to it's final conception. Their staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful. Their goal is to create the kitchen you want within a predetermined budget range. Well it's done. We love the results. It's like living in a brand new house. All thumbs up for RIKB!!!!! We love our new kitchen. Here are the before and after pictures. You decide. We are glad we decided to go with RIKB. It's a joy to cook and eat in our lovely new kitchen. Thanks RIKB!!!!”

“Don Richardson was such a pleasure to work with as his design, creativity, knowledge and professionalism were brilliant. Several times, Don went the extra mile (literally) to bring samples, discuss decisions and patiently explore alternatives. His rapport with the crew was fabulous and led to very smooth execution of the project, basically a guest house on our property for our extended family. Don designed the bedroom of our young grandson as a totally sweet cabin room with a stunning view of the trees around it. Our grandson woke up the first morning in his new room, whispering to his mother that he was in the middle of a forest!”

“Fresh Start was excellent to work with from start to finish. They ordered a gorgeous reclaimed Heart Pine floor in our #1 Quartersawn grade for a high-end renovation job in Harvard Square. The job was well-organized and the schedule was budgeted appropriately to allow for flooring acclimation and installation times. Jobsite was neat and orderly and delivery was organized/executed well, despite the extremely narrow side street and tight driveways of the neighborhood. From start to finish, Fresh Start was easy to work with. They knew how to plan for and work with a high-end finish product and treated it and us with respect. Our experience working with them to patch historic white pine and Heart Pine floors in the area has been similar. We recommend their work to clients in the Boston area.”
