“Andrey changed my ugly back yard into a beautiful deck and fence. I looked far and wide for a contractor to do this work. I had one other contractor look at the job but they were not willing to work with me to get the job done. Andrey listened to my ideas about how I wanted it built, and he worked with me to make it happen. I am in Boston so getting the permits to start the job was a huge effort. Andrey was great working with the city to get the permits. I am very happy with the way the project turned out.”

“I was unexpectedly faced with a significant construction project as a result of wear and tear and water damage. the entire front porchway and second floor deck as well as a retaining wall needed immediate work. I contacted Mr. LaPuma who came out and assessed the situation. He gave me a true estimate that was financially competitive and accurate as to time. “I live in New Jersey and have a few properties in Massachusetts. I needed work done on two of my properties. I normally send my team of guys up there when work or repairs are needed but this time I couldn't because of poor timing. I spoke to a handful of contractors over the phone. When I spoke to Chris from Develop X Properties, he reached my comfort level in the first minute of our convo. He assured me the work would be done within my budget and in a timely fashion. “Provost Landscaping has been taking care of our lawn, shrubs, sprinkler system since our previous company closed. They fixed our sprinkler system which had been a huge problem for many years and planted arborvitae against our back fence along with much beds and it’s own sprinkler system.”

“In 2007, had all windows replaced with new construction windows. Windows were Andersen 400 series wood. Work included stained interior trim and panel inserts. Work was done on schedule and stain color was meticulously matched with older woodwork in house. Very professional, responsive crew. In 2008, had screened porch re-screened, with screens on outside rather than inside. Also had several sections of trim boards replaced with Azek. Contractor came up with innovative approach to installing screens and providing kick protection on the inside. Again the job was done on schedule, very professionally. Date listed is latest work. Cost listed is for all jobs described above.”

“Kitchen remodel and 2 Bathroom remodels I had the pleasure of working with Matriarch Construction to remodel my kitchen and 2 bathrooms and they exceeded our expectations. "Received daily emails regarding progress and/or upcoming information/meetings. Quick response/resolution to any concerns/changes requested. Clear breakdown of allowances/estimates, including any change orders. Friendly, and reliable from start to finish. Which is a huge comfort for a family having work done in their home - especially with young kids. Great follow through with open items at the end of the job. Did not have any issues getting them to come back to finish even the smallest items. Outstanding service. Thank you Matriarch!”

It was a big project and I was impressed during all stages by Wes’ attention to detail and by his team’s craftsmanship. He and his team were very attuned to my wishes and worked hard to accommodate them at each stage. “Fresh Start was excellent to work with from start to finish. They ordered a gorgeous reclaimed Heart Pine floor in our #1 Quartersawn grade for a high-end renovation job in Harvard Square. The job was well-organized and the schedule was budgeted appropriately to allow for flooring acclimation and installation times. Jobsite was neat and orderly and delivery was organized/executed well, despite the extremely narrow side street and tight driveways of the neighborhood. From start to finish, Fresh Start was easy to work with. They knew how to plan for and work with a high-end finish product and treated it and us with respect. Our experience working with them to patch historic white pine and Heart Pine floors in the area has been similar. We recommend their work to clients in the Boston area.”
