“When I say our built-in bookshelves needed help, they actually needed to be rescued! Overstuffed with photos, mementos, our sons' art projects, and plenty of books. When you are a bit too emotionally attached to such personal things, it can be a little paralyzing to try to style your shelves by yourself. Larah did a fantastic job editing down the items and grouping them in such a visually pleasing way. The best part is, we can really appreciate the books, and all the pieces that hold special meaning and memories. It will be fun and much easier to switch things out periodically. I don't miss anything that didn't make it through the editing process! Larah has a great eye, is creative, very pleasant and fun to work with, and gave us some great ideas. I recommend her for any staging, styling or decorating needs that you may have!”

“The spec house that I recently completed needed staging for the real estate company's magazine and for potential buyers. The staging needed to happen fast so that it would meet the time frame required by the publisher. I found The Nest Design via Houzz.com, called them up, and met them within a couple of days. I admit to being a little concerned that the furniture might not meet my standards, but I felt confident that they would make every effort and complete the project within the limited time frame. The Nest Design brought in a great selection of furniture and accessories that looked fantastic. The choices were spot on and the photographer loved the look. The demeanor of principal is excellent--an intelligent person capable of listening and leading her team, effortlessly coordinating with stores and movers to give more than I had hoped for in a very short time. I look forward to working with this company again.”

“Waterside Real Estate Development, Inc., recently had the wonderful experience of working with the staging division of Sounds Homes. We were about to put a recently renovated raised ranch on the market and at the last minute decided we should stage it. Amy Stefanowski, the owner of the company, was incredibly flexible to work with us on short notice and to keep within our budget. We found her ideas very creative and our house was staged within a few days. The best part was that the house sold almost immediately and for more than our asking price. This was a pleasant surprise since there was a house almost exactly like ours only one street away. It was on for less and is still on the market. We think the staging was definitely a factor in our house selling so quickly. Even though we sold the house so fast we decided to go ahead with our scheduled open house in an attempt to locate future buyers. During the open house we received numerous compliments on the staging from realtors and potential buyers. Amy’s business cards flew off the counter. One of our better business decisions was to work with Amy on our staging. She has wonderful design sense and the knowledge to know what current buyers are looking for.”
