“We are very happy we chose Cope Grand to build our amazing home on Seabrook Island. This is a family business with a great reputation and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. Building a custom house for the first time can be an overwhelming adventure but we had a great sense of confidence and trust in these guys from the beginning. They were extremely thorough, patient, and responsive. There was great communication through the entire process and lots of support from their entire team. Cope Grand has excellent subcontractors – we especially loved their trim, custom cabinet and paint teams - but all were great. We also really appreciated Barbara who was always super helpful with selections and Chris who was excellent at helping find extra savings on materials. We wanted a very nice home but we also wanted to be smart with the money and were very impressed with the value we got from this company. They were extremely helpful in showing us ways to accomplish what we wanted in the most cost efficient way possible. Adam and Ben are amazing people with a real passion for excellence and for their customers. They always made us feel like we were important and a priority. We especially loved their attention to detail and refusal to cut any corners or “let something slide” if it wasn’t just perfect. If they ever noticed something was not 100% right, they would have it corrected immediately – things that we may never have even noticed! In fact, they went above and beyond for us many times throughout and even after the building process. They take their work very seriously, but they are also just fun people to be around, and you can tell that building relationships is just as important to them as building great homes. We would highly recommend Cope Grand to anyone considering a custom home build. The craftsmanship is top notch, the attention to detail is amazing and the communication and customer service is five stars awesome.”

“We had trouble finding a contractor in the Charleston area to add a bath to a bedroom in our house. I found Bowmen LLC via Houzz and they responded right away. Spencer was very knowledgable and gave great suggestions. We were able to get on their schedule quickly and they were committed to completing the project within our time restraints. Unfortunately, their work was interrupted by Covid quarantine and they had to halt the project mid-way. Once restrictions were lifted, they finished the job quickly. The new bathroom is beyond our expectations, we are thrilled w/the craftsmanship. The workers were punctual, and there was good communication w/me about what to expect along the way. They cleaned up daily and even sent a professional cleaner when the job was complete. We will definitely use them again for future projects. Reasonably priced and stuck to original quote. Highly recommend!”

“I needed to add a bathroom and utility area, but did not want to increase a footprint of the house and decided to incorporate my carport into a living area. It allowed me to save on roofing and foundation, but created certain logistical difficulties in the project. Mike and his crew have creatively addressed all the issues which allowed me to maximize the living area while still being compliant with all the building codes. Work on the project was well planned and performed according to the schedule. In fact it took longer to wait for building permit from the county than the project itself. I also wanted to point out that Mike possesses a rare quality for a contractor, - he is very punctual and responsive. He had returned all my calls/e-mails within a day and had addressed all my concerns or requests in a timely manner. It was a pleasure to work with Mike and his crew and I would hire them for my next project without hesitation.”
