“Keith was friendly and communicative. For the most part he did a great job coordinating materials and getting the appropriate people on site to keep the project moving nearly every day. The building materials used appear to be high quality. The architect he works with helped us refine our vision well. This was a large, complex outbuilding renovation. The finished work is good, but I can't give all 5 stars. The construction isn't quite to the premium, turnkey standard that was promised. Some items required additional follow-up to meet our definition of done. For one example, I had to trim the adjustable shelves that were cut too long to fit the custom shelving unit. The project also finished later than our contract schedule. The stated cost was not exceeded. We will certainly enjoy using the space, and we appreciate the effort it took to get it completed. “We worked with GB Construction on a fairly large renovation which was almost down to the studs both inside and outside and full renovation; full kitchen, hardwood flooring, roof, siding, interior, removed walls, windows, skylights, move entryway, new porch, roof, chimney, fireplace, heat and AC. It was enough work that I probably left a few things off of the list. I’ll preface this review with a note that I am a moderately capable DIYer and prefer to do my own work because every time that I’ve hired a contractor they’ve not managed to deliver up to my standards. Working with the team at GB was really easy from start to finish. Gary was thoughtful and careful as we created the plan for the work. Gary made some recommendations and was also willing to adjust plans to meet our vision for the project. Sean and the team doing the work really did impeccable carpentry and Gary’s subs all delivered top-notched craftsmanship. The vendors that Gary referred us to were easy to work with and made the project go smoothly. Jenn and Joanne were also helping from behind the scenes. Ultimately the resulting job was top notch. GB spared no expense making everything right on our project. It pains me to say it but Gary and Sean did better work than I do and it was the first time that I’ve had that experience from a contractor. I heartily recommend GB and they’ll get the first call on any future construction work that I need done!”

“Keith Kling of Kling Brothers Builders donated his time, materials, and valuable expertise to assist me in the completion of my Eagle Scout project, which was a floating dock on a pond in Newtown, CT. Initially, Keith provided assistance in refining the design of the dock so that it met building standards and was sturdy enough for heavy use by kids. He also advised me regarding the types of materials I would need and the proper techniques for building the dock. He even got his hands dirty helping to pour the concrete footers and installing the dock at the pond. Keith's expertise and generosity were extremely valuable and helped me bring my project to life.”
